Funeral arrangements are complete at Zoeller Funeral Home for Ida Wenzel of New Braunfels. She passed away Sunday, July 28, 2013 at Sundance Inn at the age of 100. She was born November 30, 1912 to Louis and Hertha Nolte in New Braunfels, Texas. She was a very active member of the Eagles Auxiliary. Preceding her in death was her husband Edwin Wenzel; brothers, Melvin Nolte, Sr. and his wife Louise and Walter Nolte and his wife Norma. Her survivors include her son Stan Wenzel and his wife Barbara; daughter Patsy Runge and her husband Harvey; grandchildren Chris Runge and Tim Wenzel and his wife Trisch. Visitation will be Wednesday, July 31, 2013 from 6 pm until 8 pm at Zoeller Funeral Home. Funeral services will be Thursday, August 1, 2013 at 2 pm at Zoeller Funeral Home with burial to follow in Guadalupe Valley Memorial Park. Those wishing to make memorial contributions may make them to Hope Hospice New Braunfels or First Protestant Church New Braunfels.
