Ima Lucille Wilson Miller Footlander, born on November 13, 1928, in Vernon, Texas, to parents Samuel Ray Wilson and Floy Dean Whisenhunt Wilson, passed away in Schertz, Texas on February 3, 2026, at the age of 97.
Ima worked for Gibson Department Store and retired from Downtown Mini Mall in Denton, Texas.
Ima is preceded in death by her parents, husbands Charles Troy Miller and William Edward (Bill) Footlander, sons Arthur Ray Miller and Charles Roy Miller, and brothers Earnst Wilson, BH Wilson and Floyd Wilson, great granddaughter Olivia L. Mosley.
Ima is survived by her children Judy Lucille Miller Prestridge and Sue Miller Stephens, brother Roy Wilson, sister Loretta Wilson, Grandchildren Crystal, Christopher, Trish, Steven, Sabrina, Sam, and Brooks, 16 great grandchildren and 7 great great grandchildren.
A committal service will be held at Roselawn Memorial Park, located at 3801 Roselawn Dr, Denton, TX, 76207, United States. The service is scheduled for February 18, 2026, from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm.
