

James R. Flack, of New Braunfels, Texas departed this world to join the love of his life, Suzanne L Flack late Friday afternoon, Feb. 11, 2022 at the age of 85. James was born on December 12, 1936 in Lubbock, Texas to Joseph Flack and Mona Rountree. He attended Texas Western College in El Paso, Texas. James married Suzanne L. Feste March 10, 1956 in Juarez, Mexico. He began his manufacturing career at Farah Manufacturing in El Paso, Texas and remained in leadership of multiple companies until his retirement at the age of 67 in the San Antonio area.
He is survived by his two sons, James Daniel Flack and his wife, Nancy Flack of San Antonio, Texas and Robert Flack and his wife, Tamara Flack of Schertz, Texas; his two daughters, Kathryn Ford and her husband, Randle Ford of New Braunfels, Texas; and Kristi Smith and her husband, Derek Parker of Phoenix, Arizona; his daughter-in-law, Pam Flack of Schertz, Texas; 17 grandchildren, Lily Flack, Logan Flack, Meghan Smith, Zachariah Smith, Jordan Mezeret, Konnor Smith, Tene Villarreal, Shauna Flack, Jeremy Flack, Heather Hart, Cody Flack, James Flack, Sean Flack, Joshua Ford, Chase Ford, Katelan Ford and Karleigh Ford and 15 great-grandchildren.
James is preceded in death by his beloved wife, Suzanne L. Flack; his sister, Mona Johnstone; brother, Jerry Flack, son-in-law, Basil Smith and one son, Tommy Flack.
James was a man of integrity who believed in putting God and his family first. He passed his strong work ethic off to his children and his grandchildren. Manufacturing management was his career, but supporting those that he led was his legacy. He and Suzanne opened their home to those in need and simply to fellowship and to spread the Word of God. He enjoyed watching the UTEP Miners, the Green Bay Packers and especially the San Antonio, Spurs. Above all, he loved his wife, Suzanne and his family with all of his heart.
Services will be held Tuesday, February 15th at 2:00 PM at the Sonlight Chapel located at 453 Kelly Street, Center Point, Texas, 78010
James will be buried with his wife at Hill Country Memorial Gardens in New Braunfels, Texas.
