Jennifer Barganier Cludius, 43, of New Braunfels, passed away on Tuesday, July 11, 2017, in Waco, Texas. Jennifer was born to Henry David Barganier and Karen Rauch Barganier in New Braunfels on December 19, 1973.
She is survived by her husband, Fred Cludius; sons Trevor Scott Lopez and Noah Scott Cludius; daughter, Elizabeth ‘Libby’ Cludius; father, David Barganier; brothers, Jeff Barganier and Jarad Barganier; step-sister, Laura Glasscock; grandmother, Dorothy Rauch; and aunt, Debbie Morgan.
Jennifer's passion was serving others. She obtained her Bachelors in Social Work and her Masters in Social work from Southwest Texas State University and served as a social worker at a nursing home before accepting a position with the State of Texas assisting with the fetal alcohol syndrome educational campaign. Even after leaving paid employment to spend more time raising her children, Jennifer continued to serve. She attended a mission trip to Rwanda through True Vineyard Ministries, delivered meals through Meals on Wheels, served on a church committee and always lent a helping hand when it was needed.
As a life long resident of New Braunfels who could trace her family back to original settlements in the area, Jennifer loved her family heritage and was instrumental in getting her family farmhouse, built out of stone in the mid-1800’s, donated to the New Braunfels Conservation Society.
Her bright smile, infectious laugh, and positive attitude will be sorely missed. Jennifer believed in love and respect for all of God’s children and she lived it every day.
A Memorial Service will be held 2:00 pm Saturday, July 22, 2017, at Oakwood Church New Braunfels with Reverend Jason Adams officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to the New Braunfels Conservation Society. Arrangements under the direction of Zoeller Funeral Home, New Braunfels, TX.
