

He was born in Dallas Texas to Dorothy and Clyde W. Smith on January 19, 1946. Jimmie graduated in 1964 from W.W. Samuell in Pleasant Grove Texas.
Jimmie was a veteran of the Vietnam War and served in the Army and was a purple heart recipient on June 11, 1967. Prior to moving to New Braunfels Texas 9 years ago, Jimmie was a professional chauffer for Ambassador Limousine Inc. for 25 years. He was active in the Saint Peter and Paul Catholic Church, where he drove the bus for the school, church and youth group.
Jimmie is preceded in death by his parents, Dorothy and Clyde W. Smith.
Jimmie is survived by his wife, Linda S. Smith; his daughters, Shannon Noel Smith and Lesley Dawn Smith Munizza; 2 grandchildren, Crystal Williams and Rocco Munizza; 2 great grand-daughters Charli Chancey and Chloe Terry; sister and brother in law Terry Kay Wall and Tom Wall; many cousins and the Spencer family and its many branches and his 2 four legged daughters, Connie and Pippa Smith.

Visitation will be on Friday, July 14, 2023 from 5:00 – 8:00 pm, and Celebration of Life will be on Saturday, July 15, 2023 at 11:00 am at Zoeller Funeral Home. The Burial will be Monday, July 17, 2023 at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery at 10:45 am.
