John O’Brian Gunn passed away on Sunday, May 12th, 2013 at the age of 72. John was a beloved son, brother, and uncle. He was born March 9th, 1941 to Elmer and Dorothy Gunn in San Antonio, Texas. He was well-regarded as being very knowledgeable about matters of health. The family remembers him as being a body-builder during the sixties and was well-informed about vitamins and minerals. He received an honorable discharge from the Air Force. He had a special way with animals, and in fact carried a permit for falconry, and was very skilled in his favorite pastime. He is survived by his niece, Tracy Post, his aunts Katherine Classen, Lillian Chapman, Betty Cox and Anna Neil, and numerous cousins throughout Texas. He was preceded in death by his mother and brother. The family will receive friends on June 1st at 1:00pm at Zoeller Funeral Home for Chapel Services. A graveside service will follow at Guadalupe Valley Memorial Cemetery at 3:30pm.
