Kandy B. Collins Schaefer

Kandy B. (Collins) Schaefer, 58, of Marion, TX, passed away on Saturday, March 13, 2010 at her residence. She was born in Rosebud, Texas to Frederick Andrew Collins and Bernice Lorraine (Sitz) Collins on November 19, 1951.

She is survived by her husband, William “Billy” Schaefer; son, Justin W. Schaefer and wife Brandy; brothers, Kevin Collins and wife Wendy, and Clay Collins and wife Susan; mother, Bonnie Collins; mother-in-law, Roberta Schaefer; sister, Ione Steinbach and husband Dennis; granddaughter, Shaylie Schaefer; nieces and nephews, Jared Collins, Corby Ott and husband Brandon, Aaron Collins, Stacy Haugen and husband Eric, Summer Steinbach and Shelby Steinbach; numerous great nephews, extended family and a host of friends. She was preceded in death by her father, Fred Collins; father-in-law, Milton W. Schaefer; and nephew, Troy Brent Collins.

Public visitation will begin 5:00 PM Tuesday at the Zoeller Funeral Home with the family present to receive friends from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM. Funeral Services will be held 10:00 AM Wednesday, March 17, 2010 at the First Protestant Church with Reverend Charles Van Natter officiating. Interment will follow in the Comal Cemetery.
