

Kenneth Forra Ninneman, beloved husband, father and grandfather, passed away Friday, April 16, 2010, at the age of 76. He was born March 15, 1934, in Ironton, WI. to Harvey and Lucille Ninneman. He married Diana Jean Koch on April 20, 1955, in New Braunfels. He served in the United States Air Force from 1952-1956 and was stationed in Japan for awhile. He retired from Symons Corp. after 20 years of service as a machinist and industrial mechanic. He loved to hunt and fish with his sons, son-in-law and grandsons. He was a member of Grace Memorial Church and the Men of Grace. He was a member of the Eagles of New Braunfels and was a Boy Scout leader at one time.
Survivors include his wife of 55 years, Diana Jean Ninneman of New Braunfels; children, Dennis Ninneman and wife Kathie, Duane Ninneman and wife Tammy and Darren Ninneman and companion Nita Kessler, all of New Braunfels, and DeAnn Pugh and husband Truman of Spring Branch; grandchildren, Elizabeth Embry and husband Sam of Austin, Brandon Ninneman and wife Sara of New Braunfels, Derek Ninneman and wife Alex of Blanco, and Dana Ninneman and companion Johnny Gonzales, Megan Gonzales and husband Rey, Drew Ninneman and fiancée Danielle Brotze, Dalton Blang, John Ninneman and Carly Blang, all of New Braunfels; stepgrandchildren, Carli and Cameron Pugh of Spring Branch; and great-grandchildren, Lola and Logan Ninneman, Nathan and Faylee Shea, Kylli and Hunter Gonzales and Dean Ninneman. He also is survived by a brother, Dean Ninneman and wife Arlene; sisters, Beverly Gaffney and husband Arden and Ellen Fry and husband Ed, and an aunt, Shirley Liebig, all of Wisconsin; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Harvey and Lucille Ninneman of Baraboo, WI. ; his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Alton and Ella Koch of New Braunfels; and a sister, Marcella Baetje of Wisconsin.
Services will be held Wednesday, April 21, 2010, at 10 a.m. at Grace Memorial Church, 3240 FM 725, with the Rev. Richard Carse officiating. Burial will follow in Comal Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 4-9 p.m. Tuesday, April 20, 2010, at Zoeller Funeral Home. The family will receive visitors from 5-7 p.m. Pallbearers will be grandsons Brandon Ninneman, Derek Ninneman, Drew Ninneman, Dalton Blang, Sam Embry, Rey Gonzales, John Gonzales and Cameron Pugh. Honorary pallbearer will be John Ninneman.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to Grace Memorial Church or the charity of one’s choice.
