

She was born to Charles & Heddie Seidel Kassner April 9, 1939 in Bastrop County. She was preceded in death by two siblings and deceased husband O.G. “Buddy” Marbach and parents, Charles and Heddie Kassner.
While spending much time at Kassner Service Station Lillian attended school and graduated at NBISD. She loved attending dances with her friends. She was a very meticulous person and talented seamstress who could create and repair clothing. She made clothing from patterns for her family and children also sewing stuffed animals for her grandchildren and creating nick knacks.
Lillian retired from Comal County as a secretary. Later in life she acquired a real estate license. She met Harold McCown at a dance in Geronimo VFW and a romance blossomed from there. She was an N.B. Evening Lions secretary and with husband Harold became 2014-2015 Lions of the year.
She is survived by husband Harold McCown of New Braunfels, Texas, son Tod Marbach and wife Rose, son Kelly Marbach and wife Valaree, daughter Melanie Richardson and husband Robert, and three granddaughters, Cassondra, Brittney and Ashlyn.
Lillian is also survived by Terry and Debbie McCown from Lorena Texas and three children, Terry Jr. and Stephanie McCown from Houston, Texas, Tabatha and JoJo Arevalo from College Station, and Taylor McCown from College Station, four great grandchildren, Lane and Walker McCown, and Addie and Joseph Arevalo.
Visitation will be at Zoeller Funeral Home on Monday, June 9 from 5pm-9pm with the Vigil at 7pm. Funeral will be Tuesday, June 10 at Zoeller Funeral Home at 1pm with procession to Guadalupe Valley Memorial.
