Rita A. Morrison

Rita Anne Morrison, passed away on May 5, 2023 at the age 96, She was born as Rita Anne Lang to Walter Lang and Amalia Brinkrolf on April 17, 1927 in Fredericksburg, Texas. Rita married Stanley Gerard Morrison on July 8, 1946. She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, her siblings,Walter "TAL" Lang, Isabel Voelkel, Virginia Jung, Ida Mae Fiedler, and Doris "Dottie" Leihseing; her children, Charles Morrison, James Morrison, Trisha Morrison, David Morrison, and daughter in law, Patricia Morrison.

She is survived by her sister, Teresa "Tessie" White, grandchildren, Daniel Morrison and wife, Janina Morrison, Trisha Morrison, Christina Morrison, great grandchildren, Genevieve Morrison, Sebastian Morrison, Amparo Morrison, and Malachi Morrison.

Rita was a loving and caring wife and mother. Once her children were raised, Rita attended Southwest Texas State University in San Marcos, Texas and graduated with a Bachelor's of Applied Arts and Sciences. Not long after, Rita became employed at St. Phillips College as a secretary to the Dean. Rita enjoyed her profession and the family life.
