Robert Dirk Valentine

Robert “Dirk” Valentine, 82, of New Braunfels, passed away on Friday, April 7, 2017 at Christus Santa Rosa Hospital New Braunfels. He was born to Robert Emmet Valentine and Pearl Mae Berger Valentine in San Antonio, Texas on January 30, 1935.

He is survived by his wife, Gloria J. Valentine; son, Robert Dale Valentine and wife Telisa; daughter, Lori Harris and husband Gerald; son, Robert Larson and wife Elaine; daughter, Gina Abercrombie and husband Ralf; daughter, Mandy Dunn; son, Brandon Doehre and wife Lisa; grandchildren, Corey Harris, Joseph Harris, Dustin Larson, Kevin Abercrombie, Zachary Valentine, Alyssa Dunn, Kellie Abecrombie, Kayla Valentine, Lillian Dunn, and Wesley Zesch; 5 great-grandchildren; sister, Gail Rimkus; brother, Patrick Valentine and wife Catherine; and sister, Cynthia Valentine; He was preceded in death by his first wife, Burl Dean Valentine.

Public Visitation will begin 6:00 PM Tuesday at Zoeller Funeral Home and will continue until 8:00 PM. Funeral Services will be held 2:00 PM Wednesday, April 12, 2017 at Zoeller Funeral Home with burial to follow in Comal Cemetery. Memorial Contributions may be given to the American Cancer Society.
