Ruby Lee Isleib passed away Monday, November 12. She was 96 years old and had a wonderful life. Everything from floating down rivers in inner tubes & kayaks, working with Boy and Girl Scouts for over 20 years. She taught scouts how to sail in her sailboat that she bought with Bug Bonus Stamps. She taught school at Galena Park, was outdoor director for GP School Camp at Garner State Park. Took scouts backpacking in the Sierra Madras, traveled to Europe & the Holy Land, Mission trip to the Phillipines, visited every state in the Union in trailer/motor home, helped dad as on-site camp manager at Slumber Falls Church Camp. She was a member of First Protestant Church New Braunfels, DAR, DRT, New Braunfels Garden Club, Eastern Star. — and raised 5 kids! Some of you might have other memories that I’ve left out.
The Lord wanted her in heaven and I really think she was ready to see her savior face to face...
