

Sandra Lee Shea, 63, of New Braunfels, Texas passed away on Friday, January 12, 2018 at the Methodist Hospital in San Antonio surrounded by her loving family. She was born to Jimmy Reynolds and Nancy Littlefield in San Antonio, Texas on November 9, 1954. Sandy graduated from John Jay high school in San Antonio. She worked in the banking business for over forty years. Sandy was married to retired State Trooper Jim Shea for 24 years and loved their secluded home in New Braunfels where she enjoyed gardening, feeding the deer and watching all the wildlife. She had seven sisters and was often referred to as the peace keeper. Those who knew her always noticed how beautiful her hair, makeup, jewelry and clothes where put together. She will be remembered most for her playfulness, love of family and faith in God. All her relatives and friends will miss her dearly.
Sandy was affectionately referred to as “Sandy mom” and “Nanny bear.” She is survived by her husband, James “Jim” Shea; step-son, Kevin Shea and wife Phoebe; step-daughters, Kara Shea and Kristen Shea; mother, Nancy Littlefield and step-father, T.A. Littlefield; grandaughters, Karson Guerra and Karter Kay Guerra; sisters, Debbie Carruso, Lori Tebbs, Brenda Allo, Holly Mullins, Noel Dill, Glenda Taylor and Tracy Francis. She was preceded in death by her father, Jimmy Reynolds.
Public Visitation will begin at 10:30 am, Saturday, January 27, 2018 at First Church of the Nazarene; 10715 West Ave. San Antonio, TX 78213 and will continue until service time. Funeral Service will begin at 11am at the church and will conclude there. Afterwards, the family is hosting a lunch in the church reception area. A private committal service will be held in Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully asks that you donate to Sandy’s fund which is accessible on a private Facebook page: Sandy’s Celebration of Life.
