Shirley Ruth Brown Bryant

Shirley Ruth Brown Bryant, 77, of New Braunfels, Texas passed away Saturday, July 19, 2014. She was born to William C. Brown, Jr. and Inez Smith Brown on November 14, 1936. She married Robert Edwin Bryant on June 13 , 1959 in Brownfield, Texas. She attended Abilene Christian College. She and her husband owned Springtown Feed and Fertilizer in Springtown, Texas. Shirley was also a substitute teacher and worked for American Greeting Cards. She was a member of the Church of Christ and was a lifetime member of the Daughters of the American Revolution.

She is survived by son David Edwin Bryant of Austin, Texas ; daughter Karen Lee Bryant of Corpus Christi, Texas ; brother William C. Brown III of Albuquerque, NM and two granddaughters, Taylor Nicole Bryant and Bailey Mae Bryant. She was preceded in death by her parents and loving husband, Robert Edwin Bryant.

Public visitation will be from 5:00 pm to 8:00 PM on Monday, July 21, 2014 at Zoeller Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 pm on Tuesday, July 22, 2014.
