

Steven John Dodson proudly served in the USAF, answering the call of duty with courage, discipline, and integrity. His years of service reflected his deep commitment to protecting others and living by values of honor and selflessness that guided him throughout his life.
Beyond his service, he was a man of quiet strength and unwavering presence. To his family, he was a steadfast father whose love was constant, reassuring and unwavering. To his many friends and extended family, he was cherished not only for his kindness, but for his ability to listen without judgment. Many found in him a trusted confidant—someone whose wisdom, discretion, and compassion offered comfort in both difficult and joyful times.
He was preceded in death by his beloved parents, John Omar and Joan Dodson as well as his younger brother Michael Hamilton Dodson and younger sister Kristine Lynn Dodson, whom he held close in his heart throughout his life.
Steven leaves behind a legacy of loyalty, generosity, and deep human connection. His life touched many, and his absence will be felt profoundly by all who had the privilege of knowing him. Though he is no longer with us in body, his spirit lives on in the lessons he taught, the love he shared, and the countless lives he quietly shaped.
He will be deeply missed and forever remembered. He is survived by his wife Tracy, his daughter's Kristine Turner (Larry Turner), Teresa Dodson (Carl Bandle) and Ashley Dodson (Chris Blaty) as well as his son Timothy Dodson (Jessica Bissett). His Sister's Jacqui McGlamery (Steven McGlamery), Cathy Simmons (Jim Simmons) Lori Goerndt (Kyle Goerndt) and Lisa Palmer. His grandchildren Austin Tallerico, Brett Tallerico, Madelyn Tallerico, Makayla Marie Bishop, Jacoby Blake Bishop, Elisabeth Anderson Wicht- "Ellie" As well as his great grandaughter Vanessa Tallerico. As well as many nieces and nephews that will miss him dearly.
