He is preceded in death by his parents, sister-in-law, Linda Davis Scott and his niece, Ashley Scott Montgomery both of Corpus Christi, Texas.
He is survived by his loving and caring wife Mena Beth (Cone) Scott. They were married April 25, 1998. He is also survived by his brother Michael J. Scott of Corpus Christi, and four children John Travis Zercher, Billie Jo Zercher, Shannon Janice (Steve Moreno) and Ryan Timothy Scott (Maria Scott). He has nine grandchildren, Megan Elizabeth Zercher, Ashley Nicole Zercher, Stephen Zack Moreno, Hannah Marie Zercher, Karen Kaylynn Zercher, John Austin Zercher, Kadence Marie Scott, Alexander Ryan Scott, and Stephen Zane Moreno.
Memorial services will be held at Zoeller Funeral Home on Wednesday, May 12, 2010 at 2 p.m. Memorial contributions can be made to Hope Hospice of New Braunfels.
