Zachery "Zac" Justin Kelley

Zachery "Zac" Justin Kelley, born on June 16, 1980 in San Antonio, Texas, to Lisa Mateer and Bruce Kelley, passed away at age 38 on October 22, 2018 in Seguin, Texas. Zac graduated from Texas Tech University in Lubbock, Texas in 2003 with a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration. He was a proud member of Sigma Chi and felt a life long bond with his fraternity brothers. Zac was passionate about everything he did. He lived for the beach, snorkeling, sports (How Bout Them Cowboys and Go Spurs Go), reading, hunting and fishing. He could bring joy to any room with his smile, funny stories and his often zany, one of a kind sense of humor. Zac’s strong emphasis on family could not be overlooked; he was committed to being a caretaker to his mother during the past several years and loved her dearly. Zac’s family, and those friends he considered family, knew of his amazing dependability and commitment to his relationships. What Zac did for those he loved knew no bounds. He was also deeply proud of his three younger brothers: Shane Kelley, for their connection to music; Taylor Boss, for his guidance through sports; and Austin Nimnicht, for fostering his artistic passions. They all shared a genuine, unique and special connection that lives on in their hearts. Zachery is survived by his mother, his father, his stepmother Janice Kelley, sister Suzette Olin, his girlfriend of many years Kaila Kresta, his three brothers, and loving Aunts and Uncles.

Friends and family can pay their respects at a memorial service on Saturday, November 3 at 12:00 p.m. at Zoeller Funeral Home, 615 Landa Street, New Braunfels, Texas, 78130. A reception will be held at the funeral home after the service.
