It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Zoey Lynn Bricker, who left this world on March 22, 2025. Zoey was born on November 2, 2010, in Newark, Ohio to her loving mother Audrey Bricker.
In 2024, Zoey and her family moved to New Braunfels, Texas, where she attended New Braunfels Middle School. Zoey excelled in her classes and was actively involved in the choir and band. She was brilliant, talented, magnetic, and unfailingly kind. Many teachers and classmates loved her. She enjoyed music, painting, drawing specifically, reading poems and above all she had a passion for animals. Zoey dreamed of becoming a marine biologist or a veterinarian for exotic animals.
Zoey was known for her love of Hello Kitty, Japanese culture and her iconic Converse high tops, which she never went anywhere without. Zoey loved to hang out with her family and friends and was a constant joy to be around, with a singular goal in any social situation—to make people feel included and welcomed. She was impossibly witty, caring, and outgoing. She had a natural ability to bring humor to any moment with her fun loving personality and will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
Although Zoey's time with us was far too short and her passing has left her whole family and friends devastated and heartbroken, her memory will forever live on in our hearts. May she rest in peace, knowing that she was loved and cherished by so many. She is survived by her mother Audrey Bricker, Step-dad Alexander Gee, Step-Sister Jocelynn Gee, and many other family members that loved her.
A visitation will be held at Zoeller Funeral Home, 615 Landa Street, New Braunfels, Texas on March 30th, from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM, with a service following at 3:00 PM. In Lieu of flowers donations may be made to Audrey Bricker Gofundme. From the bottom of Zoey’s family’s heart, they would also like to thank everyone for all the donations and prayers everyone has sent their way.
