He was born in Poland and was son to the late Marcin and Marcianna (Fiks) Tosik, having come to the State from Germany in 1950. He was a WWII Polish Army Veteran, a member of the Fafnir Seniors and Falcons Nest and had retired from Fafnir Bearing after 30 years of employment.
He leaves behind extended family and friends here in the States as well as in Poland, including Krystyna Dankowska of New Britain and Casmiria Gawronski of Newington.
A Visitation time will be held Tuesday, October 21, 2014 from 8:30- 9:30AM at the New Britain Memorial Donald D.Sagarino Funeral Home, 444 Farmington Ave., New Britain, followed by his Funeral Liturgy at 10:00AM in Sacred Heart Church, 158 Broad St., New Britain. Burial will then follow in Sacred Heart Cemetery, Burritt Street, New Britain. For online messages, please see the above links.
