Andrzej Lesniak

He was the beloved husband of Maryla (Krajewski) Lesniak, his wife of 31 years and the love of his life, the father of Kevin and Elizabeth Lesniak and her fiancé Ryan T Riley. He is survived by his brothers; Adam Lesniak and his family in Texas and Wladislaw Lesniak, his sister- and brother-in-law Alina and Jerzy Guziewicz, and their children Greg, Monika, and Joanna Guziewicz of Berlin.

Andrzej was born in Poland and came to America in his early 20s to live out the American Dream. While pursuing the American dream, he met Maryla and the two of them started a beautiful life and family. He worked very hard to provide for his family over the last 35 years as a building maintainer for Intertown Reality. Many may remember him as “Handy Andy.” When he was not working, you would find him on the soccer field as the goalie for Polonia Falcon Soccer Team of New Britain, a position and game that he truly loved.

He was a devoted, loving husband and father, and he will be dearly missed. His sense of humor and his hard working spirit will live on through the legacy of his children.

A time of visitation will be held Thursday, Dec. 29, 2016 from 5-8pm at New Britain Memorial Donald D. Sagarino Funeral Home, 444 Farmington Ave., New Britain. The members of the General Haller Post and it's Ladies Auxiliary will meet at the funeral home at 6pm. His funeral services will begin Friday, Dec. 30, 2016 at 8:30 for a brief gathering at the funeral home, followed by his Funeral Liturgy at 9:30am in Sacred Heart Church.
