

Angela Marguerite (Cormier) LeBlanc, 89, of New Britain, CT, passed away on Wednesday, August 13. She was born in Memramcook, New Brunswick, Canada, daughter of the late Jeanne and Adia Cormier, and moved to the US with her husband and young daughter in 1955. She was employed for many years by JC Penney. Angela was a talented quilter and knitter, who enjoyed making gifts of her beautiful craftwork. She also enjoyed puzzles of all kinds and hand writing letters to her sisters in Canada. Angela is survived by her son Terry LeBlanc of New Britain, CT; sister Victorine Melanson of Dieppe, NB, Canada; sister Lorraine C. Gaudet of Wethersfield, CT; sister Lucille Mercier of Dieppe, NB, Canada; brother Ronald Cormier of Pré-d’en-Haut, NB, Canada, and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Francis LeBlanc, daughter Linda LeBlanc Dahl, sister Bernadette Melanson of Memramcook, NB, and brother Gerard Cormier of New Britain, CT. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, August 20 at 10 a.m. at St. Francis of Assisi Church, 1755 Stanley St., New Britain, CT, followed immediately by a burial service at St. Mary Cemetery, 1309 Stanley St, New Britain, CT.
