For over 20 years, Betsy was a dedicated hospital administrator with the Hospital of Central CT, closing out her career at Bradley Memorial hospital in Southington. Her exceptional attention to detail and caring nature helped numerous people throughout her career. Her co-workers quickly became close friends and affectionately referred to themselves as the “Bradley Girls”. Her retirement was as vibrant as her career, where she relished the simple joys of life, traveling and spending quality time with family.
Betsy found delight in growing vegetables and flowers. She found joy in baking and cooking for others, nurturing this passion with the same dedication and love she showed in all her pursuits.
She was an ardent admirer of nature, with a special affection for Blue Birds which held a meaning of renewal for her, bringing her joy hope and a connection to the afterlife.
With an innate zest for life and a vibrant spirit, Betsy would often be spotted in the company of her beloved family and dear friends reveling in the sweetness of shared experiences.
Betsy’s legacy goes far beyond her hobbies and affections.
At the heart of her life's story was an immense love and passion for her family. A dedicated mother, she poured endless hours into ensuring the happiness and well-being of her children and grandchildren, nurturing them with the same resilience and determination that characterized every aspect of her life. Her children and grandchildren were not only her life’s joy but also her greatest accomplishment. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
