Bogumiła, known to most as Bogusha, leaves behind her loving fiancé, Michael Killeen, and her cherished daughter, Aleksandra Knitowska, who was the pride and joy of her life. She is also survived by her sister, Ewa Włodarska, and Ewa’s husband, Adam Włodarski, along with their three sons, Jakub, Szymon, and Kamil. She is survived by her father, Witold Wnuk, and preceded in death by her mother, Maria Wnuk, whose memory she lovingly carried in her heart.
A woman of deep compassion and strength, Bogusha spent her life caring for others. As a dedicated nurse at Midstate Medical Center, she was known for her calm presence, her gentle smile, and her unwavering commitment to her patients and colleagues; those who crossed her path felt the sincerity and kindness she carried in her work every day.
Outside of her profession, Bogusha was passionate about fitness and meditation; nurturing her well-being through movement, mindfulness, and gratitude. She loved to travel, frequently returning to Poland, where she was born and raised. She cherished each visit and every moment spent with family and friends. Mexico was her “happy place” where she found peace, happiness, and where she was able to recharge.
Bogusha will be remembered for her kindness, her sense of humor, her resilience, and the way she made every person feel seen and cared for. Her legacy is one of compassion, devotion, and love; a life lived with purpose and a heart that touched many. Bogusha’s memory will live on in the hearts of her family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing her.
