Boleslaw "Billy" Zamojski, 67, of New Britain passed away Tuesday, June 3, 2025 after battling an illness. He was born in Poland, but called New Britain his home. He served in the United States Army in the 82nd Airborne Division, and was a proud paratrooper. After leaving the Army he served in the Connecticut National Guard. He worked for P and S Contractors Inc. for over 42 years, and developed great skill and love working with epoxy.
Mr. Zamojski is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Monica and Joe Zwirn of Summerville South Carolina, and son and daughter-in-law, Aaron Zamojski and Jenny Dillon of Trappe, Maryland. He is also survived by two grandchildren, Connor and Rollin Zwirn, also two sisters, Genevieve Bascetta of New Britain, Connecticut and Rose Egri of Haddam, Connecticut.
Anyone who knew Billy would be the first to tell you he was the toughest person they knew.
Calling Hours will be held Wednesday June 11, 2025 from 9AM to 10:30AM. Funeral Liturgy will be held on Wednesday June 11, 2025 at 11AM at St Ann Church North St New Britain CT. Interment Services will immediately follow at St Mary Cemetery 1141 Stanley St. New Britain.
