She was 78 yrs young and born March 25th, 1947 in Philadelphia to Henry Hoffert Jr. and Shirley Vogel. Cheryl was predeceased by her parents and brother Henry Hoffert III who passed away in 2007 at the age of 52.
Cheryl held an associate degree in marketing from Manchester Community College.
She worked in marketing for McDonald’s Corp and GFox Company. Later in her career, she worked for over two decades at the University of Hartford as an office coordinator in the Psychology Department until her retirement.
Cheryl loved nature, gardening, cooking, caring for her cat and socializing with friends. Each New Years Day Cheryl would host brunch for her friends which gave her great joy. Cheryl was a kind hearted person who was always there to lend a helping hand. She will be dearly missed.
Calling hours will be at New Britain Memorial Sagarino Funeral Home Tuesday, June 10, 2025 from 11am to 2 pm followed by a luncheon celebration next door of Cheryl’s life. Burial will be at the convenience of the family.
