She was born in New Britain and was the daughter of Frank and Hedwig (Tysko) Klatka. She worked for many years in the New Britain Public School System.
She was a devoted mother and grandmother and will be dearly missed by two daughters with their spouses and a son, Mary Booth and her husband, Chandler W. Jr. of Terryville; Ann Richardson and her husband, Robert of Dexter, Maine; Carl D. Gould Sr. of Farmington. She is also survived by her devoted sister with whom she made her home, Maryann Klatka and her grandson Carl D. Gould Jr. and his wife, Joanna and their daughter Aleksandra all of Farmington. She was predeceased by a brother, Frank Klatka.
Funeral services will be on Saturday, August 28, 2010 at 10:00 AM at the New Britain Memorial & Donald D. Sagarino Funeral Home, 444 Farmington Ave. New Britain. Burial will be at Sacred Heart Cemetery. Calling hours will be on Friday, August 27th, 2010 from 5:00 to 8:00 PM at the funeral home. (Directions, Exit 37 off I-84 take a right at the exit, 1 ½ miles on your right.)
