Ernesto Mutone

Ernesto Mutone, 60, beloved husband of Donna (Tyminski) Mutone of Bristol, passed away on Friday, April 1, 2016. Born in Naples, Italy he was son to the late Domenico and Teresa (Cartiera) Mutone. He was a retiree of the City of New Britain, Public Works Dept.and was a member of the Generale Ameglio Club.

Ernie so loved cooking for family and friends, treating them to his dishes of lasagna, mucho pasta and his delicious tiramisu. He will be remembered for his memorable moments with his precious grandchildren swimming away in the pool, taking a ride on his motorcycle and fishing trips. His contagious smile and constant joking will always be cherished.

In addition to his beloved wife Donna of 38 years, he is survived and will also be dearly missed by his loving children, Theresa Adorno and Domenico Mutone, his precious grandchildren, Paul, Tatyana, Victoria and Joey. A sister, Felomena Romano in Italy and many nieces and nephews. He was also predeceased by his siblings; Felicia Mutone, Maria Barbagallo and Sabato Mutone.

A time of visitation will be held Saturday, April 9, 2016, from 4-6pm, at the New Britain Memorial Donald D. Sagarino Funeral Home, 444 Farmington Ave, New Britain. His Celebration of Life, A Memorial Remembrance Service, will follow at 6pm at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, a fund will be established in Ernie's memory to a Kidney Foundation, a collection basket will be available during the service.
