Born on July 5th 1934 in Stefanaconi, Calabria, Italy, he was the son of the late Giuseppe and Maria-Rosa Fortuna. Filippo worked for Fiat Motor Company in Torino. In 1971 he moved with his family to the United States where he worked for Stanley Works through the end of his career. He took special pride in growing his fig trees and making wine. He had unconditional love for his family and friends. Food, laughter and gardening ensured the togetherness he cherished so much, and which remained that way through his last moments. He was a truly incredible Nonno, and will be deeply missed by his grandchildren – who were the light of his life.
