Genevieve Bogdanski

Genevieve (Sutula) Bogdanski, 96, widow of George Bogdanski since 1989, of Rocky Hill, passed away peacefully at home on Sunday, March 26, 2017. She was born in Bristol and was the daughter to the late Adolf and Aniela Sutula and had previously resided in New Britain and Plainville before settling in Rocky Hill. She graduated from Bristol Schools. Mrs. Bogdanski along with her husband owned and operated Nobby Beverages, Inc. until 1989. She was a parishioner of Holy Cross Church. Genevieve enjoyed spending time and sharing stories with her granddaughter, Kathi.

She is survived by a son, Ron and his wife Marie of Pembroke, Mass., a daughter, Christine Ulatowski and her husband Joseph of Meriden, her six grandchildren, several great grandchildren and nieces and nephews. She was also predeceased by a son, Paul Bogdanski, five brothers and two sisters.

A time of visitation will be held Wednesday, March 29, 2017 from 8:30-9:30am at New Britain Memorial Donald D. Sagarino Funeral Home, 444 Farmington Ave., New Britain followed by her funeral liturgy at 10AM in Holy Cross Church. Burial will follow in St. Thomas Cemetery, Bristol.
