Giuseppa Angileri

Giuseppa Angileri of New Britain died peacefully at home on Tuesday, January 17, 2012 at the age of 97. She was born in Marsala, Sicily to Rachela Londra and Vito Milone. Giuseppa moved from Sicily to New Britain Ct with her husband and has lived there for half of her life. She was a member of St. Ann Church.

She is survived by her devoted daughter, Angela Angileri with whom she made her home. She is also survived by her beloved grandchildren, Giuseppina Lisa Pontbriand (husband David), Giuseppe Benedetto Angileri, Giuseppe Angileri (wife Loredana), Maurizio Angileri and Alessandro Angileri (wife Daniela). Great-grandchildren, David Mark Pontbriand, Jr., Alexa Giuseppina Pontbriand, Adrianna Vita Angileri, Francesco and Alicia Angileri. Also survived by her daughter-in-law, Giuseppa Angileri-Gorski.

She was predeceased by her husband, Giuseppe Benedetto Angileri and two sons Francesco and Vito Angileri.

Funeral Services will be on Friday, January 20th at 10:15 AM at the New Britain Memorial Sagarino Funeral Home 444 Farmington Ave. New Britain, followed by the funeral Liturgy at 11:00 AM at St. Ann Church. Burial will be in St. Mary Cemetery.

Calling hours will be on Friday morning January 20th from 9:00 AM till the time of service at the funeral home.
