Grazyna (Kluba) Kolodziejczak, 63, beloved wife of Zbigniew Kolodziejczak, of Tolland and formerly of New Britain, passed away on October 9, 2019, with her family by her side. She was born in Swidnica, Poland and was daughter to the late Idzi and Krystyna (Surowa) Kluba.
Grazyna came to the US in her mid-twenties to join Zbigniew, the love of her life, in the pursuit of the American dream. She worked tirelessly along with her husband to provide a good life for their daughters. She always sought to better herself, continue her education and advance her career often taking night classes, state exams and certificate courses. Grazyna had a zest for life and enjoyed traveling the world with her husband. She lived life to the fullest, exploring different European cities each year and sunbathing in the ocean while she floated beside her husband. She frequently planned her next trip before her previous one was even completed. She’ll be remembered for her good sense of humor, prowess in the kitchen, and her love for sushi and her four furry grand-dogs. She enjoyed the finer things in life, retiring at an early age and spending her days being pampered at the spa with her daughters. She claimed to not have a green thumb but enjoyed gardening nonetheless and maintained a bountiful garden of vegetables and flowers each year. Most of all she loved spending time with her precious grandchildren.
In addition to her beloved husband of 36 years, Zbigniew, she will also be missed by her daughters Agnieszka Lukaszewicz, along with her husband Michael, and their two children Calvin and Milena, of Southington, and Ania Jankowski along with her husband Adam, of Southington. She also leaves behind many friends and family that will miss her dearly.
Visiting hours will be held Sunday, October 13, 2019 from 5-8pm at New Britain Memorial & Donald D. Sagarino Funeral Home, 444 Farmington Ave., New Britain. Her Funeral Liturgy will be Monday, October 14, 2019 at 9:30am in Sacred Heart Church, 158 Broad Street, New Britain.
