Jerzy Chylinski

Jerzy Chylinski, 80, beloved husband of 53 years to Jadwiga (Murawska) Chylinski, of Southington, passed away Friday, Oct. 25, 2019. Jerzy was born in Poland and was son to the late Stanislaw and Aleksandra (Cudakiewicz) Chylinski.

He retired from Fafnir Bearing Co. after 25 years of service.

He was a kind and gentle man who loved spending time with family and friends, especially his grandchildren. He will always be remembered for his hard work and his sense of humor.

Besides his wife Jadwiga, he is survived and will be dearly missed by his children: George Chylinski and his wife Lynn, Elizabeth Stranieri and her husband John, Christopher Chylinski and his wife Ivana, a sister, Stella Soellner, three brothers; Edmund (Mary), Stanislaw (Maria) and Kazimierz (Pauline) Chylinski, and a sister; Helen Fedorowicz. He is also survived by his precious grandchildren: Danielle, Jeffrey, Olivia, Adriana and Eric and many nieces and nephews. Jerzy was also predeceased by siblings: Jadwiga Gorska, Waclaw and Bogdan.

A time of visitation will be held Sunday, Oct. 27, 2019 from 4-7pm at New Britain Memorial & Donald D. Sagarino Funeral Home, 444 Farmington Ave., New Britain. Funeral services will begin Monday, Oct. 28, 2019 at 9:30am from the funeral home, followed by his funeral liturgy at 10:30am in Sacred Heart Church.
