John lived in New Britain for most of his life attending local Schools and was formerly employed at Pratt & Whitney and Volpe Masonry.
He is survived by his son, John Walczak Jr. of New Britain; his brother Stanley Walczak of Long Island, NY a nephew Steven Gawron of New Britain and nieces Diane Hllburn of CA., a significant other, Mary Lou Levesque, a granddaughter, Shawna Bielawski and a niece Stephanie and nephew Nicholas.
Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his sister, Lydia Gawron.
Funeral services will be at a time to be announced at the New Britain Memorial/Donald D. Sagarino Funeral Home, 444 Farmington Ave. New Britain,
