Johnny Joseph Flores, 54 of New Britain died peacefully on Thursday and Entered Devine Glory, February 17, 2011 at 9:19pm with his devoted daughter and family by his side. He was born in Brooklyn, NY and has been a long time resident of New Britain, Johnny proudly served in the US Army and formerly was employed by the New Haven Housing Authority. He is survived by his beloved daughter, Veronica Flores and his beloved grandchildren, Donivin and D'asia, His sisters, Elena Sanchez, Nancy Flores and Lucy Flores. His oldest brothers Jose Flores, Nelson Flores and Armando Flores. He also leaves behind other brothers, several nieces and nephews. Besides his family he leaves dear friends, he will be dearly missed my all of them. Funeral service will be Wednesday February 23, 2011 at 1:00 PM at the New Britain Memorial &Donald D. Sagarino Funeral Home, 444 Farmington Ave. New Britain. Burial with military honors will follow in Fairview Cemetery, New Britain. Calling hours will be today, February 22th from 5:00 to7:00 PM at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers donations in Johnny Memory may be made to the funeral home.
