Kathleen S. D'Amore, 56, of New Britain, passed on Thursday, September 7, 2017. She was born September 26, 1960 at New Britain General Hospital and was one of six children of Frank and Bruna Badon. Kathy married her childhood sweetheart Steve D'Amore on July 25, 1981 and two sons were born from this union; however, there are many more that would come to call her mom. Those that knew her would probably agree that she might not have been the most eloquent but that was part of her charm. She was not afraid to tell you the hard truths or to say what everyone else might have been thinking. She was a unique soul and enjoyed life to its fullest with no regrets. Kathy leaves to cherish her memory her husband, children, mother and father, brothers, sisters, in-laws, and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. She will be deeply missed.
A time of visitation will be held Monday, Sept. 11, 2017, 4-7pm at New Britain Memorial Donald D. Sagarino Funeral Home, 444 Farmington Ave., New Britain. Her funeral service will begin Tuesday, Sept. 12, 2017 9:00am at the funeral home followed by her funeral liturgy at 10:00am in St. Ann Church. Burial will follow in St. Mary Cemetery, New Britain.
