

Larry B. Fraioli, 101, longtime resident of New Britain, more recently of Clemmons, N.C., passed away peacefully on Jan. 13, 2017, surrounded by his loving family. Larry was the beloved husband to the late Mary Fraioli of 71 years. Larry was born in Mamaroneck, N.Y., a son of the late Gaetano and Gaetana (Frezza) Fraioli. Larry moved back to Italy at a very young age, only to return to the United States at age 16. He was a member of St. Maurice Church. Larry’s love, devotion and strong commitment to his family and faith will always be remembered. He was a recipient of the St. Joseph Arch Diocesan Medal of Appreciation in 2008. He was employed by and a retiree of Stanley Works for 36 years. He was a caring father who always provided for his family.
Larry will be dearly missed by his loving family; children, Thomas and Gail Fraioli of Mill Creek, Wash., Lawrence and Carol Fraioli of Clemmons, from whom he received his care, Frances and Edward Kelly of Clarendon, Vt., John and Sandra Fraioli of West Hartford; his 13 precious grandchildren, Jill, Laura, Kevin, Taryn, Buddy, Dorothy, Beth, James, Jared, Jade, Michaella, Kendra, Trudy; his eight cherished great grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren; sister-in-law, Jenny Delitto and nephew, George Fraioli. In addition to his wife, Larry is predeceased by his sister, Carmella Germani, daughter-in-law, Kathy Fraioli, and grandson, Thomas.
Calling hours will be held Saturday, Jan. 21, 2017, 9:30 to 10:30 a.m., at the New Britain Memorial-Donald D. Sagarino Funeral Home, 444 Farmington Ave., New Britain CT 06053, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. in St. Maurice Church, 100 Wightman Road.
