Maciej Dabek, 63 of New Britain died on Monday, August 29, 2011 at the Hospital of Central Ct. He was born in Poland and has lived in New Britain for the last 15 years. In his younger years he was actively involved with the Scouts Organization in Poland.
He is survived by his wife, Lucja Zdunek Sokolowska of New Britain, his son Mateusz Dabek and his wife, Klaudia Wolanska Dabek of Berlin and his daughter Matylda Kasperkiewicz and her husband, Krzysztof of MA. He is also survived by a brother, Michal Dabek of Canada, a sister Barbara Rydel of Poland and five grandchildren.
Funeral service will be on Saturday, September 3, 20011 at 9:00 am at Sacred Heart Church , 158 Broad St. New Britain. Burial will take place in Poland. Calling hours will be on Friday, September 2nd from 5:00 to 7:00 Pm at the New Britain Memorial-Sagarino Funeral Home, 444 Farmington Avenue, New Britain.
