Mary Ann Fallo

Mary Ann Fallo, 93, of Destin, Florida died May 25, 2011 after living a long and loving life. She was born on October 30, 1917 in New Haven, CT to Pasquale and Jeanie Nargi. Mary was from a family of nine children, brothers, Carmen, Babtist, Armand, Martin and Bernard Nargi and sisters, Josephine Triumfo, Edith Pantani and Adiline Balzano.

Mary graduated from Hill House High School and Goodwin Technical School both of New Haven, CT where she was an honor student and received the prestigious DAR Award.

She married Anthony J. Fallo on September 5, 1936, who preceded her in death in March of 1998. She moved from New Britain, CT to Destin, FL in 1990. Mary is survived by her daughter and son in law, Barbara Jane and George Davis; her son and daughter in law, Thomas Peter and Karen Fallo and granddaughter Elissa Fallo of Farmington, CT. Her grandchildren George D and Laura Davis, Jr. of Daphne, Alabama and Sandra L. and Andrew Bates of Lawton, Michigan. Also survived by her great-grandchildren George D. Davis III and Michael A. Davis of Daphane, Alabama and Jacob and Jessica Bates of Lawton, Michigan and many nieces, nephew and dear friends.

The family will receive friends for visitation Friday, June 3, 2011 from 4pm to 8pm at New Britain Memorial-Donald D. Sagarino Funeral Home. A funeral mass will take place at 10am on Saturday, June 4, 2011 at St. Francis of Assisi Church. Burial to follow at St. Mary Cemetery in New Britain, CT.
