Nicolas Vazquez

Nicolas Vazquez, 84, husband of Carmen Vazquez, of New Britain, passed away on June 30, 2012 in his home, surrounded by his loving family. Nicolas was born on February 6, 1928 in Corazal, Puerto Rico and was the son to the late Juan Colon Rodriguez and Cristina Vazquez. Nicolas has been a carpenter, proudly building homes in Puerto Rico before settling in New Britain over 30 years ago and was a member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, New Britain. He will be most remembered for is joy of cooking and most enjoyed spending his time with his precious family. Nicolas is also survived and will be dearly missed by his children: Zorayda Vazquez of, Toa Alta, PR Nellida Vazquez of New Britain. Family and friends are invited Thursday, July 5, 2012 for visitation from 7-9pm to the New Britain Memorial Donald Sagarino Funeral Home, 444 Farmington Ave, New Britain, with a Prayer Service at 7:30pm conducted by Fanor Solano.
