Raymond Rowe Henry

Raymond Rowe Henry, affectionately called Fish ,77, of New Britain , CT passed away peacefully at Civita Care Center of Newington, CT surrounded by family on June 8th, 2025. Born on April 19, 1948 in Faiths Pen , Jamaica W.I. He was the son of the late Wilfred Henry and Minnette Harvey. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, and uncle.He was employed at Alcan Bauxite Company in Faiths Pen, Jamaica W.I.for many years. In 1985, Raymond immigrated to the United States in pursuit of a better life for his family. He was employed at Equipment Service of Hartford ,CT and Mirabelli Automotive LLC of Newington, CT. He dedicated over 25 years to his work as a fabricator /welder, always providing tireless effort. A passionate Boston Red Sox fan, Raymond also found great joy in fishing.

Raymond is survived by his wife, Jenifer (Davis) Henry of New Britain, CT ; his children Callean Henry of Brooklyn NY, Sydonnie Brown of New Britain, CT, Franciso Campbell of Jamaica W.I, Cyprian Henry of Cape Cod, MA, Omar Davis of Hartford, CT, Dayon Davis of Hartford, CT, Deverton Henry and his wife Tara of Bethel, CT, and Richard Henry and his wife Denise of Manchester, CT. He also leaves behind his beloved grandchildren: Kyanna Dalmas, Kemar, Daelyn, Eleanor, Spencer, and Sabrina Henry. And many nieces and nephews. He is also mourned by his brothers and sisters:Dorrel Barrett of Newington, CT, Monica Harrison of Jamaica W.I, Yvonne Rashord of FL, Hyacinth Nembhard of Jamaica W.I, Joan ( Nembhard) Russell and Michael Russell of FL, Debbie (Henry) Clarke and Rolin Clarke of Jamaica, Mandy(Henry) Curtis and Martin Curtis of FL, Howard and Olive Henry, Harrington ( brother Ray) Nembhard of Jamaica, Roxan Henry of Jamaica, Roman of Jamaica and Sharon Henry of Jamaica.Raymond was predeceased by his sister's Carmelita Thompson and Thelma( Claire) Nembhard. His brother's Devon Henry, Owen Henry, Paul Henry, Dathan ( Ruffy) Henry, Ashley Henry, and Norris (Deedo) Nembhard.

The funeral service to honor Raymond’s life will be held on Saturday, June 21st at the New Britain Memorial & Donald D. Sagarino Funeral Home, located at 444 Farmington Ave., New Britain, CT. Visitation will take place from 10:00–11:00 AM, followed by a funeral service at 11:00 AM. Burial will follow at Fairview Cemetery, 120 Smalley St New Britain, CT 06051. A special thanks to the staff at Civita Care Center, in Newington CT who provided exceptional care and compassion. Raymond will be deeply missed and forever remembered
