He was born to Adam and Anna Ulatowski on December 3, 1924 in New Britain, CT. He served with distinction with the United State Army during World War II in both the European and Asian Campaigns. Upon his discharge, he joined the United States Merchant Marines, where he worked his way up from wiper to the class of master electrician. He intrigued his family with many stories of hi world travels. After retirement, Ray enjoyed many pleasures, chief among them, fly-fishing all over America.
He was predeceased by his siblings; Henry, Carl and Irene Ulatowski. He leaves to mourn him, his two nephews and two nieces.
The family wishes to thank the staff at Andrew House Healthcare for the care and generosity they embellished upon Ray during his long stay there.
Raymond was buried with full military honors and next to his beloved parents at Sacred Heart Cemetery, New Britain.
