

Richard G. J. Pelletier, 79, of Bristol, formerly a longtime resident of New Britain, died January 14, 2013. Richard was born in Hartford a son of the late Arthur and Anna M. (Brassard) Pelletier. Richard was a communicant at St. Francis of the Assisi Church in New Britain and was an accountant at the former Eyelet Specialty Corporation for many years. His was predeceased by his beloved wife Rita (Duclos). He is survived by his daughters Lisa Pelletier and Mona P. Ferony of Bristol, Lola Pelletier of Amesbury, MA and his son Marc Pelletier and his wife Mary-Ellen of Southington, two brothers Roger of East Hartford and Joseph of Florida, two sisters Jeannette Middlebrook of California and Anita Cowles of Connecticut, nine grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be Friday Jan. 18th at 9AM from the New Britain Memorial-Donald D. Sagarino Funeral Home, 444 Farmington Ave., followed by the Liturgy of Christian Burial 10AM at St. Francis of Assisi Church, burial with military honors will follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery, all in New Britain. Visiting hours at the funeral home are Thursday Jan. 17th from 5-8PM. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Mulberry Gardens Residence Activity Fund, 58 Mulberry Street, Plantsville, CT 06479.
