Robert E. Bobinski

He was born in Waterbury, CT and has lived in Southington for many years; he was the son of the late Mieczyslaw and Helena Bobinski.

Robert was a devoted husband, uncle and friend who cherished time spend with family and friends. He was alight hearted man who had a loving and gentle nature with a great sense of humor. He was friendly, generous and helpfully, never failed to make his friends and family smile even in a difficult situation; he spend over 30 years as a volunteer for AA. He will be dearly missed by his family and friends.

He is survived by his devoted wife, Wanda Bobinski; his sister in law Krystyna Witkowski of Southington; nephew Sebastian Lichodziejewski and his wife Livia and their son Nataniel; his cousins Jane and Ted Barszcz of Meriden and Marianne Provancher Rayn of Plymouth; and a dear cousin in Poland, Rev. Krzysztof Sikora. As well as many friends whose life he touched in a special way.

Funeral Services will be on Saturday, August 3, 2013 at 9:00 Am at the New Britain Memorial-Donald D. Sagarino Funeral Home, 444 Farmington Avenue New Britain. Directions: Exit 37 off I 84 take a right at the exit, 1 ½ miles on your right.

Followed by the funeral liturgy of Christian burial will follow at 10:00 Am at Immaculate Conception Church, 130 Summer St. Southington, CT 06489. Burial will follow at Immaculate Conception Cemetery.

Calling hours will be on Friday, August 2sth from 5:00 to 8:00 PM at the funeral home
