

It is with great sadness and deep regret that we announce the passing of Robert Thomas Wormald 63 of Kensington, who died unexpectedly at home on Saturday, December 24, 2011. He was the son of the late Walter and Dorothy (Bergeman) Wormald. He was born in Ridley Park, Pennsylvania and has lived in Kensington for most of his life. Bob was a graduate of Grove City College in PA and was a Software Development Consultant at the Aetna. He was an active member and treasurer of the Prince of Peace Church in Kensington.
Bob was a loving husband and father; he was a hard working man with many interests. He enjoyed sailing, the outdoors and the beach in Old Lyme. His greatest joy was being with his family and friends. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
He is survived by his wife of 36 years, Isabel (Perez) Wormald and his beloved children who were his pride and joy, Christopher Wormald and his wife Amanda of Stamford; Elizabeth Zigmont and her husband Michael of Southington. He leaves several nephews and nieces and many family and friends who he loved very much.
He was predeceased by a sister, Joyce Voshell
Funeral Services will begin Thursday, December 29, 2011 at 9:30am from the New Britain Memorial & Donald D. Sagarino Funeral Home, 444 Farmington Ave., New Britain, followed by the funeral liturgy at 11:00am at the Prince of Peace Church, 1103 Chamberlain Hwy. Kensington. Burial will follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery. Calling hours will be held on Wednesday, December 28, 2011 from 4-7pm at the funeral home. Directions: Exit 37 off I-84 take a right at the exit, 1 ½ miles on your right.
