

Rosina (Giglio) Ciccio, 70, of Berlin, died Sunday, March 10, 2013 at the Hospital of Central CT in New Britain surrounded by her loving family. Rosina was born in Tripoli, Libya and was a resident of New Britain for several years before moving to Berlin 25 Years ago.
She was the beloved wife for 52 years to Giuseppe Ciccio. Rosina and her husband were active members of the Angelo Custodio Club in New Britain, CT.
She was a woman of faith who cherished the time spent surrounded by family and friends, especially her children and grandchildren. She was a great seamstress and wonderful cook: there was always a feeling of love in her home.
Rosina will be deeply missed by her husband and three children Luciana Ranno of Rocky Hill CT, Marilena (Marilyn) Julian and her husband Douglas of Berlin CT, and Stefano Ciccio and his wife Maryellen of Southington CT; and grandchildren Alissa, Katie, Leah, Nick ( Nico), Megan and AJ. She is also survived by her sisters Pina Visentin, Franca Giglio, and Maria and husband Rafaelle Ciccio, all of Milano Italy; her brother in law and wife Bruno and Iolanda Ciccio of Berlin CT and a sister in law Carmella Ciccio of New Britain several loving nieces and nephews. She was pre deceased by three brothers, Franco, Vincenzo, and Umberto Giglio and one sister Angelina Ferraris and one brother-in-law Santino Ciccio.
Her family would like to thank the physicians and staff of the Hospital of Central Connecticut Critical Care Unit for the excellent care and compassion that they gave to Rosina and her family.
Funeral services will be held on Friday at 9: 00 AM from the New Britain Memorial-Donald D. Sagarino Funeral Home 444 Farmington Ave. New Britain followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 AM at St Ann church 101 North St. New Britain. Burial will be in St. Sebastian’s Cemetery Middletown. Friends and relatives may call at the funeral home on Thursday from 4 to 7 PM.
