Sister Mary Severine (Anna Sudol), 93, a member of the Daughters of Mary of the Immaculate Conception died Saturday, April 26, 2014. A native of Haverhill, MA, she was the daughter of the late Walenty and Sophie Sudol.
Sister entered the Daughters of Mary, May 14, 1939. Sister received her BS from St. Joseph's College and her MA from Fairfield University. Sister Mary Severine taught at Mary Immaculate Academy, St. Paul's and Sacred Heart Schools locally, as well as, in our parish schools in MA and New Jersey. Sister was also at Our Lady's Guild House in Boston, MA and St. Lucian's Residence.
Sister is survivied by her sisters, Jennie Nowicki, Mary Gurka and Sister Mary Cyril of the Daughters of Mary. She is predeceased by her brother Frank and sister Julia Adamczyk. Sister is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Wake services will be held on Tuesday, April 29 from 4-7 p.m. in the Motherhouse Chapel at Marian Heights, 314 Osgood Avenue, New Britain, CT. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday at 3 p.m. in the Motherhouse Chapel. Burial will be in Immaculate Conception Cemetery.
