

She was born in Sortino, Italy to Carmela (Guarino) Blundo and the late Francesco Blundo and has lived in Berlin for most of her life .
She was a dedicated member of St. Paul’s Church and the Santa Sofia Society. She was a loving and devoted mother and grandmother and was famous for her Italian three colored cookies. But her greatest joy was being with her family and friends; she will be dearly missed by all who knew her.
She was the widow of Antonio Barbagallo and is survived by her devoted family, a daughter Tina Tropea and her husband, Tony of Berlin; a son, David Barbagallo and his wife, Nancy of Berlin.
She is also survived by two brothers and two sisters with their spouses, Sebastiano and Carmela Blundo of New Britain and Luigi and Nuccia Blundo; Vincenza and Sebastiano Tabacco and Rita and Nello Inzirillo all of Italy
She leaves five beloved grandchildren who were her pride and joy, Massimo, Luca, Nina, Ava and Olivia and many special nieces, nephews, dear friends and neighbors.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, at 9:00 AM at the New Britain Memorial/Donald D. Sagarino Funeral Home, 444 Farmington Ave. New Britain followed by the funeral liturgy at 10:00 AM at St. Paul Church, 479 Alling St. Berlin, CT Entombment will follow at St. Mary’s Cemetery, 1309 Stanley Street, New Britain. Visiting hours will be Wednesday, April 16th from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the New Britain Memorial Donald D. Sagarino Funeral Home, 444 Farmington Ave., New Britain
