Mrs. Theresa (Terry) Putala Bobeck of New Britain died on October 15, 2018. Born in Glen Cove, LI, New York on August 10, 1932, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Bernice Iwaskiewicz Putala. Theresa was a devoted and caring mother and is survived by her daughter Juliana Bobeck Hoyle, her son Steven Bobeck and his wife Yelena. She was grandmother to her beloved Jennifer Theresa Hoyle - the joy of her life. She was a loving wife to Stanley Bobeck and a caring sister to Anne Putala both who predeceased her. Her best friend Barb Carlone brought her much happiness and companionship over the past fifty years. Recently, Barb would read her books every night and enjoy occasional lunches together. After retiring to be a full time mother and homemaker, she returned to work as a lunch aide at Thomas Jefferson School. She was a devote member of the Holy Cross Church, the New Britain Council of Women, and the St Anthony's Guild. She loved her God and her family above all else on earth.
