Thomas Edward Otulak

Thomas E. Otulak, 50, beloved husband of Dawn Pinto-Otulak, of New Britain, passed away peacefully, Friday, August 7, 2015, after a courageous battle with cancer, surrounded by his caring family. He was a loving son to Joseph Otulak and Jeannine Otulak and step-son of William J. Lezotte (deceased) and Naomi (Wolf) Otulak. He is also survived by his sisters Janice M. Otulak and Laura Ann Otulak; sister-in-law Jo-Ann Savonis and her husband John; a brother-in-law Thomas Pinto and his wife Margie; sister-in-law Lori Robert and husband Rob; his nieces and nephews Nicole Loos, Serena Robert and Christopher Pinto. He also adored Christopher, Melissa and Stephen Kagey whom he thought of as his own children, and leaves a host of close and dear friends. Thomas was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed all aspects of hunting, fishing, camping and hiking, and was an active member of the Norfolk Coon Club. He worked as a Motorola Communications installer for NECS/WPCS. Visitation hours will be held Tuesday, Aug. 11, 2015 from 4-8pm at the New Britain Memorial Donald D. Sagarino Funeral Home, 444 Farmington Ave., New Britain. Funeral services will begin Wednesday, Aug. 12, 2015 at 9:00am from the funeral home, followed by his funeral liturgy at 10:00am in Holy Cross Church. Burial will held at a later date.
