Wiktoria Stoj, 78, passed away peacefully and surrounded by family on Thursday January 19th. Born in Krakow Poland, Wiktoria came to the United States as a young woman. Dedicated employee at Pratt and Whitney for 30 years, Wiktoria retired early and enjoyed traveling to Poland with her sister on various occasions to visit her friends and family. All three of Wiktoria’s daughters attended university and have accomplished careers and loving families. Wiktoria’s love of baking and cooking were enjoyed by many who attended her dinner or holiday parties. Wiktoria battled pancreatic cancer very bravely for many months and endured much hardship.
The family asks that in lieu of flowers, a donation to the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network is considered at www.pancan.org. Funeral services will be on Wednesday, January 25, 2017 at 10:00AM at St. Stanislaus Church, Bristol. Burial will follow at St/. Joseph Cemetery, Bristol Calling hours will be on Tuesday, January 24, 2017 from 4 to 7:00 PM at New Britain Memorial Sagarino Funeral Home, 444 Farmington Ave. New Britain.
